Yeehaw! Ford Opens Registration for Bronco Off-Roadeo Driving School

The Bronco Off-Roadeo, an off-road school and wholescale Ford Bronco brand experience, has been calling out to current owners and order-holders of the Bronco and Bronco Sport for some time now. After awaiting specifics on the special experience, we’re finally getting some concrete details: Registration is now open for the Horseshoe Bay, Texas location (near Austin), and an opening date has been set for June 28, 2021.

The purpose of the Bronco Off-Roadeo is to help familiarize owners with the off-road technology, capabilities, and functions of their Bronco or Bronco Sport. More than a mere educational seminar, the program provides ample behind-the-wheel practice and plenty of skill-building time navigating the steep hills, challenging ledges, and trails of central Texas. The off-road courses and trail rides, designed to challenge owners and to give them the confidence to utilize the capabilities of the Bronco, were designed with the assistance of Vaughn Gittin Jr., Loren Healy, and Bob Burns.

Initial registration for the Bronco Off-Roadeo in Texas is open to Bronco Sport Badlands and First Edition owners and also order-holders of two-and four-door Broncos. Rather than bringing their own Bronco or Bronco Sport, participants will be provided a similarly equipped model on-site.

It’s not all magnificent sunsets and wild broncos running free—although that does happen in Horseshoe Bay. The day-and-a-half Bronco Off-Roadeo is complimentary, but the getaway itself is not all-inclusive. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the program, accommodations, and adventure extensions. Off-Roadeo works with local resorts to offer packages. Friends, family members, and non-Bronco owners can join for a fee. Bronco order-holders will receive a $250 voucher that can be used toward the added costs.

The Horseshoe Bay location near Austin, Texas, is one of three Bronco Off-Roadeo parks that’s been confirmed. The other two are in Mt. Potosi, Nevada; and Moab, Utah. There will also be one somewhere in the Northeast. All are due to open later this year.

Bronco Off-Roadeo nights end around the campfire with like-minded Bronco aficionados, a great way to celebrate the arrival of summer and the legacy of the Ford Bronco.
